[CITRIX] – Toolbar has Disappeared

Summary

Toolbar found on middle top of screen does not appear, preventing user from doing things like Minimize, Disconnect, Fullscreen, etc…

Find out which method the user has connected. Did they connect to Citrix through the web browser @ https://cwilson.cloud.com

If through web browser….

I found a bug of sorts where I can consistently cause the toolbar to disappear.

Once user has connected to the desktop, if they switch to another tab and press F11 to enter full-screen mode, and then switch to the tab running the desktop, this can cause the toolbar to disappear momentarily.

To bring it back or see the rest of the web browser again, HOLD ESC until the web browser exits Full-screen mode.

 

If through the Citrix Workspace App….

Press the following key combinations

Ctrl + Alt + F1                                                     Toggle between full-screen and window

Ctrl + Alt + Break/Pause                                Open the context menu of the desktop session

Both of these will allow the user to exit full-screen mode and disconnect if needed.
