[iMANAGE] - iManage Work Desktop for Windows Cannot Save the Document this Time Error

Summary

User receives the following error when trying to save a Word document:

iManage

iManage Work Desktop for Windows cannot save the document
this time. Please check the application and try again. If problem
persists, please contact yur iManage Work system administrator.

This will usually occur for a file saved as a .DOC file in iManage. Despite the message, the document IS saved. To get rid of the message, the document file extension needs to be saved as a .DOCX file.

-          Have the document open and then go to File > Save As

 

-          Then change the Format to “Word Document (*.docx)” and then Save.

 

The next time you open the document and changes are saved, the error message should not appear.
