[OUTLOOK] - Refresh the Outlook Address Book

Summary

Refreshes the Outlook Address Book to reflect recent updates/changes
There are a few ways to accomplish this.


1. Download a current copy of the Global Address Book.

File > Info > Account Settings > Download Address Book   

Account Settings Change settings for this account • Access this account on the https://mail.cwuarry.com/c Account Add and remcn.'e accounts or change existing connection settings. Delegate Access Give others permission to receive items and respond on your behalf. Address Bookm Download a copy of the Global Address 800k. Manage Mobile Notifications Set up SMS and Mobile Notifications. Change profile Restart Microsoft Outlook and choose a different profile. Manage P rgfiles Add and remcn.'e profiles or change existing profile settings.

The update can take a few minutes and you may find Outlook will stop responding. This is normal. 


2. Manual Method - Delete Offline Address Books (OAB)

Close down Outlook and type in the following file path into File Explorer   

C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook\Offline Address Books\ 

 

Replace %username% with your initials 

Delete all folders in "Offline Address Books" 

Open Outlook and it should re-download updated address books


3. Restart Laptop/PC

Doing so will force Outlook to download an updated version of the address book on startup. Do this if previous methods don't work.
