Things to check:

- Is your speaker volume muted/low or turned off (External speakers)
- Are your monitor speakers muted?
- Click on the sound icon in your notifications area, and then click the chevron ( ^ ) to show a list of sound devices. The list will be different depending on your PC/laptop. Click through each one until you find the device that outputs sound. Usually, anything with Digital in the name is not the correct device.
