[OUTLOOK] - Copy/Paste From Another App Strips the Formatting
Summary
A new update for Office has enabled some sort of "smart" pasting.
Now by default, pasting from other programs is set to "merge formatting", causing pastes from other programs to lose the formatting.
To change back, start a new email and click the downwards arrow on the Paste icon > then click "Set Default Past..."
Under Advanced > Cut, copy, and paste > Pasting from other programs:, change to "Keep Source Formatting" and then click OK.
Try pasting again and the formatting should stick.
