[BC Online] - Password Reset
Summary
User receives the below error when trying to log in:
If user remembers password:
· On the BC Online login page, have user click on ‘Need to change your password?’
· Have user enter old password and type new one.
*NOTE* NEW passwords must only be 6-8 characters – not case sensitive - combination of letters and numbers - only special characters that can be used are @, #, and/or $ *NOTE*
If user does not remember password:
· Log in to your BC Online account
· Select Account Management > Submit
· Select Account/Userid Management > Submit
· Under the Action pull-down menu, select Reset Userid to Default Password. In the Account/Userid field, type in the ID of the user’s account to be reset. Click Submit.
*IMPORTANT* After clicking Submit, click Submit again. You should receive a message saying the password has been reset and to wait 10 minutes.
· Once 10 minutes has elapsed, go back to the BC Online login page and click ‘Need to change your password?’.
· Enter the user’s ID and the default password ‘olbcp1’. Create a new, simple password for the user. If for example their last password was 1manisha, their new password can be 2manisha.

· Tick I agree and then click Sign On. You should be able to log in to the user’s account.
